Greenhouse Up and Running. 05/17/2009
![]() We finally finished our Alaskan Greenhouse. It is about 20 ft long and 13 ft wide. It has two foot deep raised beds throughout the inside and a place for tools and gardening equipment in the middle. The roof is 7 ft from the floor, so it's easy to walk around in. It even has a custom plywood door. ![]() We have used a little more than half of it already. The rest will be for the few things that we have yet to plant and for the kids to plant their things during Creation Camp this Summer. The greenhouse holds moisture very well and it already feels like a tropical jungle in there during the day. We were very thankful that Dacho Alexander let us use the scrap wood from his lumber mill for the construction of this garden. Add Comment Fort Yukon Project 05/03/2009
This year, at the District Council Missions Banquet, we raised most of the funds needed to start work on our church and parsonage here in Fort Yukon. | Author:
