Wow, I realized that it has been a while since our blog was updated. Allow me to elaborate on the activities and developments of the tail end of 2009;

After the youth conference in October, we began Monday evening movie and game nights. These nights are about providing the community with a place to bring their families for a night of games and a movie for free. This event has proven to be very good for the kids and the community.

As the end of 2009 dew nearer, we began preparing for Christmas and New Years. We were blessed by Kenai New Life Church with enough shoe box gifts for every child from Preschool to 6th grade. What an amazing opportunity to be able to bless the people.
 

We geared up for the youth New Years All Nighter. Our goal was to provide a safe place where the youth could go during  New Years Eve. We invited youth to come play board games, xboxes, watch movies, eat home made pizza and snacks, and watch fireworks. We got a great deal on the fireworks from Gorilla Fireworks and we were able to shoot off over 130 mortar rounds, lasting about 15 minutes. The community was blessed by this event and we were able to build lasting relationships with people and doors of ministry were opened.
